Do I need an API key to use Momentary?
No. Momentary handles the AI on the backend — you just install and search. If you prefer to keep everything local, you can also connect your own Ollama instance and run models on your machine at no cost.
What counts as a "search"?
Each natural language query you submit counts as one search. Clicking on a result or replaying a moment doesn't use additional quota.
What are timestamped comment fetches?
Momentary can scan YouTube comments to surface moments other viewers have marked with timestamps. Each time you pull comments for a video, that counts as one fetch.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Annual plans are billed upfront, and unused time is refunded pro-rata if you cancel.
What happens when I hit my monthly limit?
You'll see a clear notice when you're running low. Once you hit your limit, searches pause until the next billing cycle — or you can upgrade to a higher plan instantly.
